Hand formed sculptural vessels

Materials:  Rush, Thread, Beeswax

Sarah gathers rush where it’s found abundance from her direct locality in Buckinghamshire . After a period of drying in her Studio it’s ready to use in her practice.

Sarah coils and hand forms the brittle rush with thread with the addition of locally sourced beeswax to create tactile contemporary coiled vessels that depict organic movement. Depending on scale some vessels can take months to complete.

Debuted at Future Icons 2025 as part of London Craft week

Dimensions: Each vessel is hand formed so dimensions for each one varies and is completely Unique

The largest vessel shown is 130cm H and 163 cm circumference measured at widest point

The Smallest measured at 33cm H 99cm circumference at widest point
